Productivity Efficiency

Productivity efficiency is something that we all strive to achieve for both our daily professional and personal lives. The ability to not only complete our tasks assigned but to do it with the utmost value. Ensuring that we meet the obligations at hand with an almost perfect scorecard.

So how do you achieve this? How do you ensure that whatever you do meets a proficient score every time? What exactly do you need for all this to be your daily spectrum? Well, turns out it’s quite simple.

This article will give you a breakdown of what you need to achieve productivity Efficiency. Keep reading to find out more!

4 things To Achieve Productivity Efficiency

1. Have a Solid Morning Routine

1. Have a Solid Morning Routine

It’s amazing how what we do during the first hours of the morning affects the entire day. If you like to wake up and go through your social media to see what’s popping before you start your day, you need to stop, unless you are Mark Zuckerberg.

Facing your morning with positive energy guarantees that you will be enthused to face whatever tasks you have waiting for you during the day. And that is the key to starting your day.

So, to change your routine, try this instead. First, you need to get some bathroom mirror cabinets. Second, when you wake up, spend at least 10 minutes looking at the reflection of yourself in the mirror and say some positive affirmations.

Speaking positively about yourself and the day ahead helps you to create a cognitive memory of this in your mind. Make a nice breakfast in the OPPEIN kitchen and enjoy it. When you face a hard situation during the day, you are energized to face the situation instead of fleeing from it.

Therefore,  this is how your morning routine will look (Speculatively):

  • Wake up early
  • Do positive affirmations
  • Exercise
  • Take breakfast
  • Check work Email for any Update

2. Filter Out Distractions

You know the things that stop you from achieving your maximum efficiency in your daily tasks. If you are a social media addict and can’t stay away from your phone during working hours, log out of all your social media accounts(unless they are work-related) and put your phone away in the drawer. It’ll give you ample time to focus on the tasks ahead.

It would also help if you are offline during your working hours. That way, you do not have to worry about your phone chiming all the time. If you want to avoid these drastic measures, you can change your notification tone when you start working. Naturally, your brain is not accustomed to the new tone and your brain will not register even if you hear the tone.

If you like to chime into random conversations in the office while you work, noise-canceling headphones will do the trick. And you can be assured that no one will distract you unless it’s something that is work-related.

3. Have Personal Think Time

3. Have Personal Think Time

All the big fish in the market know how essential it is to have some time to think. It’s an allocated time frame where you get undisturbed time to think of new ideas and products that will revolutionize the industry.

You can start by simply having time to analyze your job and tasks and how you can improve in the area. As you progress, it’ll give you time to think of new ideas you can work on as personal projects and you can even start a side business.

Essentially, you think time does not have to be about work, you can use it to improve yourself on your areas of weakness. Understand your personal goals, what you have achieved, and how you can accomplish more goals faster and easier, but legally.

Using this time to read a book is also fruitful. You get to learn more for both personal and professional purposes. Such routines help you push beyond your boundaries, both mentally and accomplishment-wise.

4. Create a Steady Night Routine

Night routines are equally essential like morning routines. You can try a couple of things before settling for a particular night routine. In all these routines, make sure you do not spend the last hours of your day on social media. This is because you will be activating the dopamine in your brain and it’ll want the same satisfaction over and over again, making you go to bed late.

So, instead of binge-watching movies, you can analyze how your day went, the goals you achieved, and what you can do better tomorrow. You can do it in the bedroom before bed and it only takes a few minutes. A comfortable bedroom design will give you a comfortable and adequate sleep and a good foundation for efficient work the next day.

The Bottom Line

Achieving any level of proficiency means that you’ll have to sacrifice something in return. Nonetheless, when you decide you are ready to start, go easy on yourself. Start slow then push your boundaries as you progress. Good  Luck!
