Breathtaking

Speed, power, and luxury. A breathtaking partnership that has brought a car maker and a drone maker together. Hold on to your seats ladies and gentlemen, because we are about to take-off. A new era of battery-powered high-tech devices, automobiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Promoting 2 New Products: Porsche Taycan and DJI Mavic 2:

Speed and technology. Sky and land. Porsche and DJI are about to release two brand new products and decided to come together to create one awesome ad. Shot on the tallest mountain of Austria, Taycan (formerly known as Mission E) is Porsche’s first purely electric car. The company’s first entry in the electric automobile industry. Recording the test-drive is DJI’s also brand-new product, the DJI Mavic Pro 2 with a 30-minute flight time and 18km control distance.

Both companies are stepping into a new era. Of course, DJI Mavic Pro 2 is not your average under 300 dollars drone, neither is Taycan a casual consumer car. The prices reflect their audacity: groundbreaking, top of the line.

Porsche Taycan:

To be released in 2019, Taycan will provide an output of more than 600HP (horsepower) / 440killowats. It uses two high-powered electric motors which will feed on high-voltage lithium-ion batteries that enable a range distance of more than 500 kilometers (310 miles). Once the battery runs out of power it only takes 15 minutes to recharge enough power to cover a 400km (248 miles) distance. If this doesn’t impress you, let’s talk about speed! Under three and half seconds Taycan will be able to go from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph). Still not impressed? Well, what if I tell you that hitting 124 mph (200 kph) from a standstill will require well less than just 12 seconds? Not bad for an electric car am I right?

DJI Mavic Pro 2:

DJI doesn’t stop surprising us. Year after year, the drone manufacturer is able to put out impressive consumer UAVs. Year after year, their products fly out of shelves. So, what’s so great about Mavic Pro 2? Well, first of all, it includes 10 obstacle avoidance sensors on all sides, which is one of the most sought consumer-UAV latest technologies. As already mentioned, it features an incredible 31 minutes of max flight time. But wait, you love speed don’t you? Well, when it comes to speed, Mavic 2 is able to reach atop speed of 72 kph (44.74 mph) and fly a maximum distance of 18km at a consistent 50kph (31 mph) in no-wind conditions. Although, live video transmission stops at 8km.

What Drives You?

What about you? Are you a sky racer or a road racer? Maybe both? Let us know in the comment section below. What of these two products excites you the most? Porsche’s first highly-anticipated electric car or DJI’s new quadcopter? We look forward to hearing your opinion. Also, feel free to share this article with all the car and drone lovers out there! Let’s show the world how technology keeps advancing; sometimes even coming together and doing wonderful things.
