Trump Leads Indian-American Nikki Haley In Her Home State: CNN Poll

Former President of the United States Donald Trump is leading the Indian-American based politician Nikki Haley by over 30% of the total points in her home state of South Carolina as they compete for the nomination of the Republican Party for the presidential election of 2024, as per the latest opinion poll by CNN.
The former president, who is at present the front-runner among all the Republican candidates, has gotten the support of 53% of the responders in South Carolina as they are opposing 22% that are supporting Haley, who happens to be the former governor of South Carolina.
The 38 year old Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy is falling behind by around one percent in the polls of South Carolina, which is considered to be one of the early primary states.
The presidential election in the United States is scheduled for November 5, 2024.
The base of support for Trump in South Carolina is a lot more strong compared to the flock of core supporters of his rivals.
About 82% majority of his recent backers are saying that they are definitely going to support him. Only 42% of Haley’s supporters and 38% of the people backing DeSantis have said that they are certain of not changing their minds, CNN reported.
The primary in South Carolina will be held on February 24th, after New Hampshire and Iowa in the upcoming year. As per RealClearPolitics, which keeps track of all the important national polls, “Trump has the national support of 59 percent of the Republicans followed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (12.6 percent), Haley (8.3 percent), and Ramaswamy (4.6 percent).”
