Musk To Discuss Rising Online Antisemitism With Israeli President Tuesday

The business tycoon Elon Musk is all prepared to meet the president of Israel, Issac Herzog, on Tuesday despite the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, as per the Times of Israel.
This news was further confirmed by the office of the Israeli president, who said that the meeting between Musk and Herzog is, in fact, happening.
Herzog said that “he would be joined in the meeting by some family members of hostages who are being held in Gaza, as reported by The Times of Israel.”
He further added that he would “emphasise the need to act to combat rising antisemitism online.”
Musk, however, has been under the radar for a few endorsements of the virtual antisemitic group on X, along with the platform’s inability to crack down on the rampant misinformation and hate speech that is going on about the ongoing war.
The failure to fight antisemitism on the platform and comments that are clearly anti-semitic, which Musk himself shared, has resulted in multiple advertisers, including Disney and Apple to cut off their funds on the microblogging platform.
Amid the row of claims over the endorsement of “anti-semitic” comments on X, the owner of the platform and the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, that the social media platform will be filing a “thermonuclear lawsuit” against media watchdog “Media Matters” alleging that the company had “completely misinterpreted the real user experience” and “undermined free speech.” Currently, Musk is in Israel and is also hoped to meet Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during this visit.
