As a response to this, the X-owner had accused Zuckerberg of not taking up the challenge.
The tech leaders Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk have apparently participated in an indirect war of words in an interesting turn in their much awaited “cage fight.”
To begin with, Zuckerberg had posted on his Instagram story, “Send me the location,” with a screenshot of Musk’s tweet, which he had first put up while challenging the Meta owner.
As a response, the X-owner had apparently accused Zuckerberg of not taking up the challenge.
Musk stated on X, which was formerly known as Twitter, “Fight Recap: I joked on X about fighting Zuck Zuck then said “SEND ME LOCATION” Italy graciously offered a Colosseum Zuck declined I suggested his home as “safe space” Tragically, he was ahem “traveling” Is there anywhere he will fight?”
However, on this Sunday, Zuckerberg cryptically posted, which hinted that he had taken a step back from the fight.
In a Threads post, he stated that he was going to “focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.”
“I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on. I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity. Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead,” he added in a post.
This did not go well in favor of Musk, who went on Threads to throw some jabs at his techie rival. “Zuck is a chicken,” Musk had posted. Musk had recently posted that the “Zuck v Musk fight” will be streamed live through X, and all the proceeds shall go to charity.
